Obituary of Dennis J. Collins
Dennis J. Collins, 79, passed away Thursday, November 12th at Monmouth Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, Mr. Collins lived in Bayonne, Holmdel and Ocean Township before moving to Whiting 12 years ago. Mr. Collins graduated with a pharmaceutical degree from Fordham University. He owned and operated Holmdel Pharmacy, retiring in 1993. He is a former parishioner of Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel and was an active parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Whiting. Mr. Collins loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Dolores; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis A. Collins, Manasquan and David & Jamie Collins, Holmdel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise & Terence Laffey, Middletown and Debbie & Michael McGrath, Dunellen; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Ann Gilmore, Lakewood and Lorraine & Martin Marzullo, Jackson and eleven grandchildren, Marissa, Dennis, Lauren, Jesse, Emma, Rachel, Kevin, Jack, Ali, George and Julia. Visitation Sunday, November 15th 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial Monday November 16th 9:15 am at Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Burial to follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall.
