Obituary of Pat H. Lau
Pat H. Lau, 54, of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, December 10th, surrounded by her loving family. Born in the Canton province of China, she lived in New York City and surrounding areas for many years before moving to New Jersey about 15 years ago. She was a very loved individual that lived a life of service to everyone around her. She worked as an Arts & Crafts teacher for Jersey Shore Chinese School, passing on her skillful talents to young individuals. Her altruistic nature was reflected in her dedication to her friends and her contribution to the community. She enlightened and touched the hearts of all those she met through her endless array of talents such as catering, seam stressing, and creating elegant origami. Daughter of Sezr-Haz Ng and the late Yeung Hay Ng, and wife of Eric P. Lau. She left behind her four beloved children, Shirley and significant other Paul Bhatt, Jennifer and significant other Bobby Slocum, Alison, and Perry, all of Tinton Falls; her brother Danny Ng and wife Theresa; her older brother Louie; her two sisters Winnie Wong and husband Tommy; Amy Dong and husband Leong; her nieces and nephews, Karen Ng, Angela Ng, Clifton Dong, and Michael Dong; as well as her beloved pets Stevie Wokie & Angel Snowball. The family sends her with love to join her mother Yeung Hay and beloved pet Cadbury the rabbit.
