Obituary of Jean B. Bodner

Jean B. Bodner died Thursday in Elizabethtown, KY. He was 89. Born in Vandergrift, PA she lived most of her life in Hazlet, NJ Mrs. Bodner was the owner of Jean’s Yarn Shop in Keyport for 8 years. She and her husband Sidney were also the owners of the 7-11 in Keyport for 5 years and the 79 Deli in Marlboro for 5 years. She was predeceased by her husband Sidney Bodner in 2000. Surviving are her sons, Robert Bodner, who is retired from the NJ State Police and his wife Deborah, and Ronald Bodner and his wife Vicki, both her sons formerly lived in Colts Neck, NJ. She is the sister of Henry Bazella and his wife Valli and the grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
