Dorothy Tambasco, 88, of Aberdeen, passed away on Sunday August 21st , 2011. She was born in Newark, N.J. Mrs. Tambasco was a home maker, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas, in 1992, and by her son in law Claude Romano in 2003. She is survived by her son James Tambasco, her daughter Florence Romano, her daughter Gloria Stuppi and her husband Charles, by her six grandchildren John, Christine, Karen, Nicole, Christopher, and Philip, by her two great grandchildren and by her sister Jeanette Piontek. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening August 23rd from 7 to 9 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, N.J.. A Funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday at 10:00AM at St. Benedict R.C.Church 165 – Bethany Road, Holmdel. Entombment will then follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, Toms River, N.J.
