Obituary of William F. FitzGerald

William F. FitzGerald of Tinton Falls died Saturday, November 21 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was 51. Bill was born in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. He was a graduate of Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and attended Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. Bill was a marketing executive with both Ignition Inc. and IMG Live in Atlanta, Georgia. He also worked for many years as a concert promoter in the New York metropolitan area. Bill was a devoted New York Giants fan who had a great sense of humor and loved his family above all else. William was predeceased by his father, William F. FitzGerald, Jr. and brother, James M. FitzGerald. Surviving are his dear wife, Karen FitzGerald, adored daughter, Katherine Jeanne FitzGerald, mother, Ruth M. FitzGerald, loving brother, John T. FitzGerald, sister, Ellen FitzGerald, father and mother-in-law, David and Jeanne Veitch, niece, Erin FitzGerald, nephew, James FitzGerald, and also his beloved dog, Shelby.
