Obituary of Joseph M. Schultz
Joseph M. Schultz, Sr. 92 of Holmdel died on Sunday at the Bayshore Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Schultz was born and raised in Hillside, NJ. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he returned to Hillside where he owned a TV repair business. He later joined Bell Labs as an Electrical Engineer, working for many years before retiring. Mr. Schultz was an inventor; he enjoyed continually creating new products after his retirement. He enjoyed spending afternoons at Monmouth Park. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Virginia Schultz in 2008 and his grandson, Geoffrey Edwards in 2003. Surviving is his children, Karen and Calvin Jenkins, Middletown, Judy Dibert and Jill Bergmann, Brick, Louis and Tina Mangiavillano, Rumson, Richard Schultz, Jackson, Julianna Schultz, Holmdel and Joseph, Jr. and Jennifer Schultz, Red Bank; 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Emily, Thomas, Caroline and Katie and 2 great grandchildren Gavin and Carter. Visitation Wed. Nov. 30th, 6-9 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. Mass of Christian burial, Thurs. Dec. 1st, 10:15 am, St. Leo the Great RC Church, Lincroft.
