Harry L. Bostrom, 81, of Holmdel , passed away at home on Wednesday, September 29th surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 5, 1929 in Queens, N.Y. and lived in Holmdel for more than 50 years. He served his country as a Corporal with the U.S.Army in Korea, and was awarded an 8th Army Citation for Meritorious Service. Harry attended Rutgers University, and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He spent his entire career in the banking industry, and retired as Vice President of United Counties Trust Co. in Elizabeth in 1990. During his career he took an active role in the N.J. Bankers Association as well as other financial industry organizations. Harry also enjoyed volunteering with many groups. His favorite was his role in developing the girls program for HYAA, and his many years serving as a Coach in that program. He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Francelia Bostrom. He is survived by his wife Blanche, his daughters Laura and her husband Stuart Agin of Lincroft, and Lisa Bostrom and her long time companion Garry Doherty of Aberdeen, and his grandchildren Joanna and Andrew.
