Roberta F. O'Hara, 84 of Holmdel passed away on Saturday at Bayshore Community Hospital. Mrs. O'Hara the daughter of Gladys and Robert Kelly, was born and raised in Brooklyn, and graduated from Bayridge High School. It was at Breezy Point where she met the love of her life, her husband of 59 years, Ted. Together they moved to Holmdel in 1956. She was a parishioner of St. Benedict's RC Church, Holmdel. Roberta was an active Mother of her four sons serving as an officer of the Holmdel Pop Warner Association and was a member for many years of the Holmdel P.T.A. Roberta served as the Purchasing Agent of Holmdel Township for 25 years, retiring in 2002. Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Edward G. O'Hara; Roberta and Ted's four sons and their wives, David and Pam O'Hara, Manahawkin, Robert and Deanne O'Hara, Scotch Plains, Michael and Dianne O'Hara, Fair Haven and Steven and Debbie O'Hara, Tewksbury; and 9 grandchildren, Kyle, Morgan, Matt, Ally, Amanda, Kaylyn, Emily, Caroline and Nolan. Visitation Tuesday, October 27th, 5 to 8 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 28th, 10:30 am, St. Benedict's RC Church, Holmdel. Interment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
