my sweet; what a wonderful tribute to your mom!!! As I knealt in prayer I could not think of anything other than what a strong woman she was and I told her that in my last prayer for her as I have in all the prayers before. Irene was my neighbor for 19 years, and she was one of those wonderful people that had a smile on her face and always was interested in how she could be of help. I will miss chatting with her on my walks by the house, where in the summer I might sit down and watch the sun set while I heard about her girls and grandkids. She was a kind woman, a cheerful woman, and bore her illness with courage and grace. My thoughts are with the whole family as you adjust to life without her.
