Carmen Anthony 'Tony' Mossa 82, of Holmdel passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in the Bronx, NY Tony lived in Perth Amboy prior to moving to Holmdel 55 years ago. Mr. Mossa worked for most of his life as an Electrical Technician, and retired from Local 679 in New York City. Tony was a member of the VFW Post 5918 in Holmdel, the Holmdel Kiwanis Club, a former member of the Knights Of Columbus Council 11349, and a parishioner St. Benedict R.C. Church in Holmdel. Mr. Mossa was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1951 - 1953. Surviving is his wife Maryann Mossa (nee Cuccinello), daughter Debbie Mossa , 3 sons John Mossa, Joseph Mossa and his wife Lindsay, and Anthony Mossa and his wife Kristin, and 4 grandchildren Angela, Gianna, Mackenzie, and Gabriella. Visitation will be held Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road , Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 10:00AM at St. Benedict R.C. Church, Holmdel. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mr. Mossa's name to St. Benedict School 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733
