Veteran - Lance Corporal -United States Marine Corps Ronald M. Garbie, 67, passed away on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan, N.J. Born in Jersey City, he was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters, in Washington, DC. He was an executive for Disney, in warehouse distribution. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Ann Dunn. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, June (nee Langendorf), by his mother Edwina, by three brothers Walter and his wife Linda of Toms River, Robert and his wife Alicja of Manchester, and Michael of St. Petersburg, Fla., by his sisters Janet Fallon of Old Bridge, and Anne Marie and her husband Mark Schladebeck of Keansburg, and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 to 6 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26- South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. A private Cremation will then follow.
