Mommy, I pray and talk to you every morning going to work. I pray for you to make me strong and get me through the day. You will live in my heart and soul forever and ever until we meet again. I am also carrying out your wishes for me to go back to the church. Still having problem with belief, however, I promise you I will get there. All I can say is I will continue to make you proud and that I am and will look after Dad(that is Jim for anyone reading this that do not know). You were the best mother in the world and I am glad I had all the time we did to let you know that. Dear Jim, I was sorry to hear of the death of Lil. She was a remarkable woman… she handled what life brought her with great grace and courage. She was beautiful, smart and fun. As soon as I found out today, I called my son Jim who is working in Mahwah to ask him to drive down to bring my condolences. Tonight when I finally figured out where you all might be I called the funeral home. I realized that we were a little too late. I really wanted to be with you or have someone from me there. I met Lillian only once during our 50th reunion when you and Lillian graciously welcomed our class into your home, and I instantly knew what a lucky guy you are to have her in your life.
