JANET GILLESPIE ILARIA, 72, of NEPTUNE CITY, passed away on Monday, May 25th at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in Orange and raised in Glen Ridge, she lived in Colts Neck before moving to Neptune City. She was a graduate of Seton Hall University Nursing School. Mrs. Ilaria was predeceased by her parents, and by her brothers Bernard G. and Richard G. Gillespie. She is survived by her husband Dr. Thomas Ilaria, her son Gregory Ilaria and his wife Barbara of Manasquan, her daughters Michele Walker and her husband Kip of Brielle, and Gina Ann Kennedy and her husband Rob of Spring Lake, her grandchildren Lindsay and Johanna Walker, Joseph and Nicholas Ilaria, and Robbie, Erin, Liam, and Sean Kennedy, and by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass was held privately at St. Gabriels Historic Church in Marlboro. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday may 28th from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the residence of Rob Gina Kennedy, 112 – Passaic Avenue, Spring Lake. In lieu of flowers, prayers offered for Janet and her family would be appreciated.
