Bonnie was my boys 3rd grade teacher and their favorite. She sure knew how to make learning fun, especially with Jeopardy. She was a beautiful person and it was our pleasure to know her. She will be missed. The earth has lost someone special, but Heaven has gained an angel. May she rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Mandee and Family: Your mom has left a legacy that will live on, in her art, in the hearts of her family and in the generations of children whom she inspired in ways so countless you will never know. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and close friends of Bonnie. She was a classmate of mine in MRHS.I remember her as being so sweeet and kind. Later on, my son, John was blessed to have her for a teacher in grammer school. My prayers are with you all. May the grace and peace of God be with you and comfort you. She is in His hands now. What a wonderful teacher! Our son Luke had Ms. McC in 2006-2007 while in Ms. Serden's class. Her positive demeanor and sunny disposition were a joy to both her students and their parents. She will be missed.

Although I didn't know Bonnie long, we shared a special bond. I will never forget the wonderful day we spent together in August of 2009, sharing our experiences and hope. We watched as Zach performed the lead in Godspell. What a proud and involved Mother she was. I will remember her as vivacious and loving. My sincere condolences to dear husband Bill, who helped me through my cancer treatments, and to her wonderful children and all of her family. What a loss to the world. Heaven has another angel.

I never got a chance to meet this amazing woman Bonnie; and from what I know of her through Mandee, that is my loss, and one I truly regret. I can only imagine the depth of the pain her family is feeling, for Bonnie clearly was an incredible person who loved many, was a friend to all, and touched so many people in so many positive ways. Maybe that's why her life was so overflowing with goodness - because she didn't have long. Seems like she was able to pack a lot of loving, mothering and mentoring into that short time. I cry for all of the people who were lucky enough to know Bonnie, and especially for you, Mandee. I know your heart is breaking. And mine is, too, for you.

I just found out tonight, April 20, from Mrs. Ray Stevens of Memphis, TN, that Bonnie had passed away. I am her second cousin and was extremely close to her Grandmother Gladys Stevens Jenks of Utica, NY, who lived to be 99 years old & always spoke about her Bonnie; her late Uncle Steve lived with my family in Utica when I was about 8 yrs old while taking a job course for Remington & it was such a happy time as he, like Bonnie, was so loving. I am so sorry. I remember Bonnie well as being very beautiful and smart. When I last saw her in Utica, NY, before her marriage, I was truly impressed with her red hair(Meade trait, her beauty & her fashion flair and her kind sweet, nature. I am so sorry.
