Obituary of Elaine A Imbriale
Elaine A. Imbriale, Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec.10th at home with her family by her side. Born in Brooklyn on July 10. 1939, the first of five children.
Elaine was a longtime Staten Island resident before moving to Jackson, N.J. Elaine was extremely dedicated, hardworking, and loyal. Prior to her retirement ,she worked for over 30 years at Staten Island University Hospital as an Administrative Assistant and in medical billing where she made lifelong friendships. Her role as mother and grandmother were most important to her. She was the center of the party. Everyone gravitated to her, always the kindest and gentlest in the room. Her easy going , loving nature had an impact on everyone. Once you met Elaine, you felt like you knew her always. Never harsh nor judgemental , she accepted everyone and everything in her life. With her wisdom and positivity she made our world a better place.
Elaine joins in heaven her devoted husband, Joseph R. Imbriale . She is survived by her
3 dedicated daughters and their husbands; Lisa Crupi and her husband Frank, Debra Collyer and her husband Gary, Denise Afanador and her husband Antonio, 8 grandchildren; Francis and Matthew Crupi, Claudia, Madeline and Gary Collyer and Justin, Nicholas, and Elaine Afanador, her 4 siblings and their spouses; Carole Kirk,Michael Paquette, Adrienne Butler and Robert Paquette. Elaine also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec.15 from 4pm to 8pm at Holmdel Funeral Home,
26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey.
A Catholic Mass and Funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at 9:45 AM at St. Clare's
Church, 110 Nelson Ave., Staten Island. Elaine will be buried alongside her husband at
Resurrection Cemetery,Staten Island following the funeral.
