John Makrinos 81, of Englishtown passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. John was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean War. Mr. Makrinos was the Proprietor for over 20 years of Foursome Steak Pub in Brooklyn, NY. John was predeceased by his 1st wife Providence Makrinos. Surviving is his wife Josephine Russo Makrinos, 2 daughters Kalliope Saccomondo and her husband Nick, of Morganville, and Stamatia Piccolo and her husband Neil, of Old Bridge, 2 brothers Stamatis Makrinos of Garden City, NY, and Stephen Makrinos of Colts Neck, and 5 grandchildren Nicky, Kristina, Michael, Alexander, and Stephanie. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Funeral Service will be held Monday 11:00AM at Kimisis Tis Theotokou G.O. Church in Holmdel. Interment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
