Celeste Katherine Curran Vick passed away on August 29, 2017 at her home in Middletown, N.J. after a brief illness. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in College Station, Texas. Celeste and her family are members of St. Catharine's parish in Holmdel, N.J. She was a religious instructor of children for 13 years. She established the church library and was librarian for 22 years. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard P. Vick, two sons, Richard P. Vick II of Walpole, Massachusetts, and Robert C. Vick of Castle Pines, Colorado, and three grandchildren, Curran Vick, Catherine Vick, and Lauren Vick, all of Castle Pines, Colorado, and a sister, Terrie K. Curran of New York City. Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11 am at St. Catharine's Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Burial will be at St. Gabriel's Cemetery in Marlboro.
