Obituary of Lucille E. Fino
Lucille E. Fino, 92, of Colts Neck, N.J. passed away on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Lucille was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived with her family for the past 20 years in Colts Neck, where she was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.
Prior to her retirement, Lucille worked as a Bank Teller at the First National City Bank in Brooklyn. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling and was a member of the 300 Club at Rainbow Lanes. Lucille had a strong devotion to St. Francis of Assisi throughout her lifetime. She also loved Elvis Presley, the New York Mets, going to Atlantic City, and watching the birds outside of her kitchen window. Above all, Lucille loved to spend time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph G. Fino in 2005, and by her brother Charles McMonigle. She is survived by her daughters Judy Major of Colts Neck, N.J., and Susan Fino of Southfield, M.I.; her grandchildren Thomas J. Major and his wife Ashley, Laura R. Major, and Christopher J. Major; her niece Charlene Greenwood; her best friend Kathy Honan; and by her beloved pug, Rocky Joe.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10:30 AM, at St. Mary’s Church, 1 Phalanx Road (at Highway 34) Colts Neck, N.J. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Mausoleum, Holmdel.
