Caterina Coscia, 88 of Holmdel, passed away Tuesday, May 30th in Naples, Florida. Caterina was born in Bitetto, Bari, Italy. Moving to the United States, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Holmdel in 2012. For the past three years, Caterina lived in Naples, FL. Caterina was a parishioner of Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel. Having a green thumb, Caterina grew beautiful flowers and loved animals. Caterina was pre-deceased by her husband, Andrea, in 2006. Surviving are her children, Simone Coscia and his wife Josephine, Holmdel, Raffaele Coscia and his wife Clara, Keswick, VA and Rosanna Coscia and her partner Marie Dudoy with their dog Leda Piccola, Naples, FL; and her grandson Andre’ Coscia. Visitation Wednesday, June 7th 2:00-4:00 pm & 7:00-9:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 8th 9:15 am at Church of St. Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment Holmdel Mausoleum.
