Jeffrey Metzger, 55 Holmdel, passed away at his home on Friday, May 5th. Jeffrey was born in Red Bank, and was a graduate of Holmdel High School, where he met his beloved wife of twenty three years, Wendy. He also attended the University of Delaware. He was an avid supporter of the financial world, and was truly an outdoors man. He loved camping, scuba diving, woodworking, skiing, and traveling. His pride and joy was his daughter, Jennifer. Always a supporter of her and especially proud of her achievements. Though he could not attend Jen’s graduation from UCONN he was very proud of her success and the bright future ahead of her. He will be remembered as a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Jeffrey is predeceased by his mother, Billie Metzger. Surviving is his wife, Wendy Metzger; his daughter, Jennifer Metzger; his father, Walter Metzger; his brother Greg Metzger; his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Morgan, Lauren, Aaron, Adrienne, Colin, Rebecca, and Alex. Visitation Tuesday, May 9th 5pm-8pm and Wednesday May 10th 9am-11am at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ. Service will be Wednesday, May 10th, 11am at the Funeral Home.
