Obituary of John S. Sadlon
John "Jack" Sadlon, 61, of Colts Neck, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, with his family at his side.
Jack was born September 26, 1955, and grew up in Englewood. He was a proud graduate of Pascack Valley High School, and later of Rutgers College of Pharmacy. He completed his education with an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Jack was passionate about finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease, and centered much of his professional life around supporting research for effective treatments through his role at the Memory Enhancement Center in Eatontown. He also served as pharmacist for the Central Compounding Center in Farmingdale.
Jack was a devout parishioner at The Parish of St. Mary in Colts Neck, and was an active member of their Men's Morning Office group. He had many interests, and particularly loved motorcycles, golf, travel, wine-making, and construction projects. He did not let any grass grow under his feet and lived every day to the fullest!
Jack valued family above all else, and will be remembered as a beloved and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Sadlon; sons Jeffrey (Kathryn) Bradley and Matthew (Lauren) Bradley; grandchildren Finn Bradley and Geneva Bradley; parents John and Lorraine Sadlon; siblings Janet (Jim) Hart, Karen (Rich) Pasch, Lori (Andrew) Zucaro, and Randy Sadlon; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 7:00 pm at St. Mary’s RC Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck.
