A lifelong New Jersey resident, Vinnie was born on the 4th of July in Newark and lived in Monmouth County for over 50 years. Mr. Caprio returned to school to earn his Masters in Public Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 1977. After his 30 years of US government service, Mr. Caprio taught at Brookdale Community College, Kean College and The College of Financial Planning. He was very proud to have counseled several students who went on to become CPAs and Tax Attorneys from his Intro to Accounting Courses. Vinnie loved life and the outdoors, in particular: skiing, sailing, fishing and attending sporting events, right up until late in his life. The Yankees were his favorite team.
