Mary Ann Kovacs, 72, of New Holland, PA, and formerly of New Jersey, entered into eternal life on Friday, February 5, 2016. She was the loving wife of Paul Kovacs who preceded her in death in May of 2014. Born April 29, 1943 in Neptune, NJ, Mary Ann was the daughter of the late Edward and Dora F. (Hamernick) Riordan. She worked as a teacher for over 30 years, receiving many commendations. In her spare time she enjoyed visiting with her many friends, going to casinos, and tending the flowers in her yard. Surviving Mary Ann is her beloved cousin, Alice Ganley, as well as her many cousins and numerous friends. A memorial gathering and service for both Mary Ann and Paul will be conducted on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 11:00 to 1:00, with a prayer service at 1:00 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, Holmdel, NJ. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mary Ann and Paul’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
