Obituary of Joselito T Padama
Joselito Padama Sr. was born in Pangasinan, Philippines on October 19, 1954. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Pangasinan, and has a Master of Public Health in Nursing from the University of Philippines. He first served as a nurse in Philippines, then Kuwait where he met and married his wife Estrella. He moved to New Jersey in 1987 and worked to save money and bring his wife and three children from Philippines in 1992. He resided with family in NJ ever since and was a dedicated cardiac nurse in Riverview Medical Center for 27 years. During the course of his career at the community hospital he has helped heal and touch thousands of lives. His hard work and perseverance helped support and provide his wife and children with a home and good education. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, reading, traveling, and spending time with family. He was self-disciplined and earned a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 48 along with his son. Relatives and friends would describe him as sweet, loyal, dedicated, and an intelligent conversationalist. He was a great friend, father, son, brother, husband, and relative. One of his special gifts was his ability to give to others, including his time and patience if help was needed. He was there for his family and hardly missed special occasions when it came to them. He will be most remembered by the image of his face greeting you with a warm happy smile. He is loved and will be missed by so many.
