Obituary of Michael T. Harm

Michael T. Harm 69 of Colts Neck, passed away on Saturday at his home in Colts Neck. Mike was born in Hackensack and raised in Closter, NJ. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, served in radio reconnaissance on Huey Helicopters in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Mike was employed by The Bell System throughout his career, starting at Western Electric in Kearny, and concluding with Lucent Technology in Holmdel. He was a member of the VFW Post 2179, Port Monmouth and the Jersey Shore Area Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was a Founder and the first President of the Colts Neck Soccer Club and enjoyed coaching soccer as well as watching his sons swim. He was a parishioner of St. Leo The Great RC Church, Lincroft. Surviving is his wife of 31 years, Patricia Harm, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Julie Harm, Chicago and Martin Harm, Savannah, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Vickie Harm, Martinsville, VA, Richard and Janine Harm, Northvale, NJ and David Harm, England. Visitation on Wednesday, 7-9 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Church, Lincroft.
