Obituary of Nicholas Hencoski
Radioman - B-24 Liberator - Heavy Bomber Nicholas Hencoski, 91, of Holmdel passed away on August 8th, 2011. Born in Newark, he lived in Bloomfield before moving to Holmdel in 1957.He was an Engineer with Western Electric and AT&T, Newark, N.J. for 44 years, retiring in 1985. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving as a Radioman aboard a B-24 Liberator Bomber. Nicholas was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and the Holmdel Half Century Club. He was a parishioner of St. Catharines R.C.Church Holmdel, N.J. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alice, three sons and their wives Nicholas and Christine, Barnegat, NJ, Paul and Judith Middletown, NJ, Joseph and Becky, Seminole, FL, and a daughter and her husband Arlene and Kevin Moscaritolo, Greer, SC, ten grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
