Laura Mary Weiss, 82, of Holmdel passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 28th at Centra State Medical Center. Laura was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1928 to Frances and William Darmon who immigrated to Middlesex County in 1939. Laura worked in the Administration office of Holmdel Nursing Home for 25 years before retiring. She was a communicant of Saint Catharine's Church in Holmdel as well as the Organist there for the past 50 years. Laura enjoyed working with the Church choir and accepted every opportunity to play the organ – she loved her music. Laura is predeceased by her parents and her son Christopher Gary Weiss. She is survived by her husband Francis Henry Weiss, her son Brian and his wife Diana, and their daughters Bonnie and Caitlin, her great granddaughter Emily, her brother William and his wife Helen, and 6 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday April 3rd from 1:00 p.m. TO 5:00 p.m. at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 9:00A.M. at St. Catharine Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel.
