Theodota Zachou, 96, of Manalapan, N.J. passed away on Wednesday evening May 19th , at home. Born in Greece, she came to the U.S. in 1946, settling in Astoria, N.Y. She currently was living in Manalapan, N.J. Mrs. Zachou is survived buy her sons Thomas Zachos, and George Zachos and his wife Evelyn, her four grandchildren Mary, Harris, Terri, Toni, and her great granddaughter Nia. Visitation will be on Sunday,, May 23rd from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel N.J. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 20 Hillcrest Road, Holmdel on Monday May 24th at 11:00AM. Entombment will then follow at St. Gabriels Cemetery Mausoleum, Marlboro.
