Obituary of Caroline O. Wehrli
Caroline O. Wehrli, 75, of Holmdel, passed away on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. Born and raised in the Westerleigh neighborhood of Staten Island, she attend and graduated from Port Richmond High School. Prior to moving to Holmdel 41 years ago, she lived in Cranford, N.J. Caroline was a homemaker, and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Holmdel. She was an avid bowler, and was a former member of the Bible Study Fellowship, and the Colts Neck Tennis Club. She is survived by her husband Wilbert, by her daughters Diane and her husband Andrew Mathisen of Tinton Falls, and Kimberly Wehrli of Holmdel, by her three grandchildren Rachel, Kirsten, and Kurt Mathisen, and by her brother Richard Luders of Poughquag, N.Y. Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, N.J. onWednesday May 4th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be offered on Thursday May 5th at11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 112 Middletown Road, Holmdel.
